Here at The Bank On Kelly Hygge Villa, we accommodate individuals, large groups and families alike. Here, you can enjoy more space than a traditional hotel room. Sleeping up to 12 adults, ((14 if needed!), we offer separate, lockable bedrooms, plus lounge and living space for you to enjoy with that special someone, group of friends or the whole, extended family!
Our Hygge Villa is a two-story, five-bedroom, Australian building built in the early 1900’s, with a vibrant and cozy atmosphere that warms the heart and simply soothes the soul. Eclectically themed with an artistic flair, this unique building features five, beautifully appointed and very spacious bedrooms, each with its own bed, bedside tables, bedside lamps, charging ports and a clothes rack. The main bedroom, the King Suite, has one 1 large King bed and has its own large, fully enclosed, private terrace with garden views. Rooms 3, 4, and 5 have a large, shared balcony overlooking the quaint main street of Scone. This is a prime position from which to watch the Scone Horse Festival Parade in May! Room 3, The Queen Suite (with one queen bed), also has its own, additional, private, and enclosed terrace, an additional dresser and a dedicated office alcove, with large wooden desk and bookshelves in a spacious bay window area overlooking the town. A very cosy nook for two! Room 2 is of ample size; a twin share boasting two queen beds and a work desk – great for the kids to share. Room 3 has one queen bed, while room five has a high set double bed with west and south facing street views and shared veranda. Free unlimited WIFI throughout the whole building. Plush top mattresses and electric blankets, plus spare blankets on all beds.
With two fully equipped bathrooms upstairs, each with two toilets, two showers and 2 baths (yes, both bathrooms have baths!), and a third bathroom downstairs, (shower and toilet), there should be no hustling for W.C. time! Downstairs features a separate kitchen, dining (table seats 8) and sizeable family room, all allowing enough space for guests to commune comfortably together, or spread out, as you prefer!
The loungeroom boasts French doors which open onto a large, paved, outdoor seating area and lovely garden adorned with roses, viburnums, and assorted succulents in a spacious, fully fenced garden with lawn, all shaded by beautiful big trees. Enjoy a BBQ, relax around the fire pit, or sit and enjoy a sumptuous meal or wine and nibblies in the outdoor seating area under the pergola.
For the musically inclined we have a gorgeous piano (yes, it is tuned!) and guitar in the downstairs foyer which can be heard and enjoyed throughout the entire home and garden.
